My Labor Of Love
In the day and life of this Realtor, it might seem that I spend a lot of hours working on the internet. The truth is…I do.
- Working to market Your listing
- Networking with other Realtors who have buyers that might be interested in your listing
- Building relationships with clients and Real Estate Agents
- Building a better blog where Buyers and Sellers, alike, will come and see what we have to offer in services and resources
- For the love of writing and coming up with creative ideas
I do not get paid to do this. It is my labor of love. Love for the research, the creative mind, the competition to get my marketing out there, the thrill of being different and the determination to be the best I can be in my field of expertise for you, my client, so you will be satisfied and recommend my services to everyone you know. I spend all my time in building my business for the goal of satisfaction with my clients and recognition. I know that I am a great customer service Realtor but do you? You might have heard of me. If not, somethings you will find out are:
- I find every client, that could be you, special. You will see this with my first class service.
- I go out of my way to try and make sure you are happy with the transaction we negotiate and close. Your happiness is ultimately up to you. You decide what will put the smile on your face or make you content. What is up to me is getting you what you want!
Does the “special” and “happiness” sound like a Real Estate Agent? I could sit here and write words that sound mechanical and full of business terms. Words that you basically see on every Real Estate website but that isn’t how I work. The key to a good business outcome is communication and not assumptions.
When I was going through Nashville and auditioning for all the record label Presidents that called my production company for me, I would get all dressed up trying to show the artist that the production company was representing.
- Just like the Buyers I represent, I didn’t have to pay any money to be represented. They believed in me. I believe in you, the buyer and build a trust where you will know I have your best interest at heart. My trust in you will be knowing you are allowing me to drive this train.
The Production Company were the professionals and I stayed in my lane so I wouldn’t screw anything up. I knew a little bit from studying on the internet and listening to other people but that just confused me and if I followed some of their advice, I probably would have screwed up my chances. When I would walk in to the different labels, it struck me odd that these men would be dressed in shorts and Hawaiian t-shirts. I had a perception of what I thought they should look like. These men who had my future in their hands. They should be dressed in business suits and speak music lingo. My assumptions were wrong. They were down to earth and dressed comfortably. They spoke my language, not something I later had to figure out. They wanted me to be relaxed in their environment which I became.
- I want you to be relaxed in my environment. It is a career I have worked on everyday for 4 years. I will speak your “language” and you won’t have to figure anything out on your own because I will be there to answer your questions.
On the other side of the internet I spend a lot of time in my community. So not only do I get paid for spending hours on the internet marketing, I don’t get paid for gas to drive around to take pictures of our community for my blogsters and relocation clients.
Why do I do it?
It’s my labor of love….
I enjoy what I do and even though I might be working for so many “customers” who might change their mind, I am glad to be of service. When it comes to closing the deals for my clients, I do get paid. Months of service and hours spent eventually does pay. Buyers do not owe me any money for my representing them. Sellers, we negotiate our commissions.
